Every person’s words they use to describe their experience of that state will be unique, yet what they share in common is a kind of glowing awe or excitement about it that the prevailing culture does not trust and will usually convert into a set of literal or dogmatic beliefs about it. Poetry, music, and dance can often transcend verbal language into “ineffable" feelings that jump over those verbal barriers.
My experience has been that even doing part of that ego reduction has resulted in spontaneous, random and overwhelming experiences of accepting myself and everything around me exactly the way that we are right now. It is very relaxed. There is no rejection, no criticism, no desire to fix or change anything, and so everything, including myself, appears to be beautiful. For those who have consumed recreational drugs, it's comparable, yet without side effects, cost, or scarcity. Accessing that state becomes a learned skill.
